Rodrigo Collazo has just retired after serving 30 years in the Brazilian Navy. At sea, he commanded a military school ship used to train the Brazilian midships. During his career, he also played different roles in the sector of Science, Technology and Innovation, including manager of Business Intelligence and software projects and leading researcher of command and control domain. More recently, he structured the information domain in the Command of Naval Operations as Head of Information Operation Department and Chief of Cyber Warfare Division. Rodrigo holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of Warwick. His research interests lie on the intersection of artificial intelligence, operations research and Bayesian statistics applied to diverse domains, such as Public Health, Defense, Cyber Warfare, Logistics, Business Management and Marketing. He is particularly interested in developing dynamic graphical models to support decision makers. Based in Rio de Janeiro, he is currently in a sabbatical period.
